Berthelot

Florence Berthelot, 82, died April 21, 2008. The native and resident of Gramercy is survived by Dudley Berthelot, Enola Berthelot and Ruth B. Clouatre.

Preceded in death by parents Leopard P. Berthelot and Laura M. Schnexnayder and siblings Lynn C. Berthelot, Floyd Berthelot and Myrtle Roper.

Visitation and services were Thursday, April 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Folse

Jason Anthony Folse, 25, died April 22, 2008. TheLuling resident is survived by parents Kim and Elvin Folse, siblings Kayla Folse, grandparents Joan and Jerry Veazey and James Sides and great-grandmother Mary Powell as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by grandparents Margaret and Gerald Folse, great-grandparents Edna and Clyde Sides and John Powell and cousin Abigayl Breaux.

Visitation and services were held Saturday, April 26, at First Baptist Church in Luling. Interment followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

Laiche

Doris M. Laiche, 46, died April 23, 2008. The Paulina native and resident is survived by husband Heno J. Laiche Jr., sons Michael Laiche and David Laiche, daughters Dianna Faucheux, Patricia Zeringue and Bonnie Laiche, brothers Elize Metge Jr. and Malcolm Metge, 16 grandchldren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents Elize F. Metge Sr. and Marie L. Lambert Metge, brother Gerald Metge and sister Marie Metge.

Visitation and services were held Saturday, April 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina. Interment St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Tassin

Grace Elodie “Dee” Tassin, 70, died April 21, 2008. The New Sarpy native and LaPlace resident is survived by husband Randall A. Tassin Sr., mother Grace Myrtle Montz St. Pierre, brothers Jean Baptiste “J.B.” St. Pierre Jr. and Franklin Joseph St. Pierre, sisters Elizabeth St. Pierre Simon, Carol St. Pierre Sowers, Rose St. Pierre Pearson, Mary St. Pierre Binaco and marian St. Pierre, children Randall A. Tassin Jr., Keith Charles Tassin, Dale Joseph Tassin, Glen Patrick Tassin and Patrice Marie Tassin LeBoeuf and grandchildren Abbe Elizabeth Tassin, Sarah Anne Tassin, Jessie Lynn LeBoeuf, Hartlea Marie Walker, Bryant joseph Tassin and Halley Marie Tassin.

Preceded in death by father Jean Baptiste St. Pierre Sr. and brother Michael St. Pierre.

Visitation and services were held Friday, April 25, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan.
