LAPLACE — The Home Builders Associations of Greater New Orleans, including the River Region and Tangipahoa are thrilled to present the 2008 Parade Around the Lake, a combined effort intended to provide you an opportunity to tour dozens of homes in both the Greater New Orleans metro area and across the lake in Hammond, and surrounding communities.
As you tour all of our homes, builders and home materials representatives will be on hand to chat with you and answer questions about the latest in home construction.
There will be various architectural styles, new and exciting technologies and building techniques, and the dynamic products used in the construction of all of the homes.
The Parade will run April 19-20, 26-27, and May 3-4. Each house will be open from 1-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. The tickets will be $5, and proceeds from the sale of the tickets will be donated to the United Way of Tangipahoa and Delgado Community College.
Ticket buyers will be eligible to win a 5/ day cruise for two if they visit and get stamps from 15 of the Parade of Homes Sites. In total, there will be sixty different sites open to the public.
The Home Builders Association is a professional organization representing the residential construction industry, serving our members, as well as the New Orleans community since 1941, the River Region and the Tangipahoa community since 1979.
