The Keep St. John Beautiful organization had a great response this past Friday and Saturday to its St. John Cleanup Day effort, as many groups joined in, as well as public agencies. In left photo, Stephanie Faucheux and her daughters Gabrielle, 12, (center) and Chloe, 7, were part of the Highway 51 cleanup effort, collecting trash on the roadway on Saturday. In right photo, Dean Torres had his special work glasses on for the LaPlace Rotary Çllub’s project at the parish recreation park next to the Community Center.
