On March 25, the St. Charles Council on Aging and the American Legion Post 366 sponsored the 2nd Community Law Day and Legal Assistance Fair.

Twenty-seven seniors attended the event, which lasted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Besides complimentary breakfast and lunch, those in attendance listened to a number of guest speakers who expounded on a variety of issues affecting seniors including wills and succession, the senior prescription program and VA services for veterans.

Additionally, a number of information booths were on-site, and individual counseling was available courtesy of local attorneys.
