Alex Joseph Lumar, 77, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008. The Edgard resident is suvived by sons, Jerome Anthony and Nolton Jude Lumar; sisters, Janetta, Eula and Ceola Lumar. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, LeoPaul and Albertine Lumar; wife, Janice Jasmine Lumar.

Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday , Feb. 16, 2008 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 11 a.m. 2361 Hwy. 18, Edgard, LA. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Visitation at the church after 9 a.m.

Perrilloux

Dale D. Perrilloux, Sr., 53, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. The Reserve native is survived by father, Remey Perrilloux, Sr.; sons, Travis, Rance and Ryan Perrilloux; brothers, Otis, Bruce, Carl, Adrian, Quincy, Joseph and Timmy Perrilloux; sisters, Cheryl Frank, Elizabeth Thomas, Loutricia Batiste, Pamela Smothers and Patronella Williams. Also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by mother, Marguerite Smith Perrilloux; son, Dale Perrilloux, Jr.

Funeral service was Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at New Wine Christian Fellowship in LaPlace. Interment in Zion Travelers Cemetery.

Pete

Marcel Pete, 69, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008. The Garyville native is survived by sisters, Pearl Remo and Lavenia Moore; sons, Windell, Monotor and Norman Pete; daughters, Dorothy Green, Margie Adams, Donna Williams and Kaynette Godoy. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, Morris Pete and Dorothy Thomas Pete Fields. Also preceded by three brothers, a sister and a daughter.

Funeral was Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home. Interment followed in Zion Travelers Cemetery in Garyville.
