ESJE 8th grader Roneke Moore opens up a mock checking account with Capital One representative Ms. Felicia Scholk. The program assigns each student a job title with salary. The students rotate through stations to set up their banking, housing, transportation, and other everyday expenses. The mission is to spend wisely and end the rotation with money left over. “The Real World” program is sponsered by LSU AgCenter, but it functions with volunteers from the community.
