Kristen Yent was chosen as the 2008 St. Charles Parish Elementary Student of the Year at the Parish School Board meeting on Wednesday night. Kristen is a 5th grader at Ethel Schoeffner Elementary in Destrehan. She will go on to compete at the district level.
