Anthony “Peas” Adams, 48, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008. The New Sarpy resident is survived by son, Anthony Adams; stepdaughter, KaJuan Smith; devoted friend, Veronica Smith; sisters, Amanda Griffin and Adele Adams; brothers, Alvin Jr., Aaron, Alden, Allister and Keith Adams; grandmother, Edna Adams.

Preceded in death by parents, Alvin Adams, Sr. and Florence V. Adams.

Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at Faith and Praise Deliverance Temple. Interment New Sarpy Cemetery, New Sarpy, LA.

Williams

Artemise Johnson Williams, 59, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008. The Garyville native is survived by daughter, Precious Williams; son, Cleveland Johnson III; brothers, Beryl, Anthony III, Leo and Cleveland Johnson, Sr. Also survived by four grandchild.

Preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Helen Johnson; husband, Alvin Williams.

Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at Greater New Mt. Zion #2. Interment in Zion Travelers Cemetery, Reserve, LA.
