Patin wins final St. James Parish Council seat

LAPLACE – Representation on the St. James Parish council will mostly stay the same following the completion of elections this year, with Saturday’s final runoff.

With six of the seven incumbents returning to their posts, the only change in St. James on the Parish Council will be one.

Here is the final result from Saturday’s runoff election.

District 4

Incumbent Ralph Patin, Jr. returns as District 4 Councilman in his win over Paul Keller. Patin who led Keller in the primary election by 13% improved on his lead in the runoff to end with 577 votes for 57% to Keller’s 434 votes for 43%.
