RIVER PARISHES YOUTH BASKETBALL

REGISTRATION NOV. 10

After a 2006 season in which 150 children participated, River Parishes Youth Basketball is out to make it even better. League open to boys and girls age 7-12 from all area schools. Registration will take place on Nov. 10 from10 a.m. to 12 a.m. in the Riverside cafeteria. Camp day will be on Saturday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for 7-8 year-old boys and girls and from noon to 2 p.m. for 9-11 year-old boys and girls. Fee is $35, and includes a T-shirt. Games begin Saturday, Jan. 5. Most games played on Saturdays, and occasionally on a weeknight. If you have any questions or wish to volunteer to coach a team, call Thomas Hymel at 1-225-206-1517.
