Conjetta Nicolosi Vickers died October 27 at 3 p.m. at Riverlands Health Care in Lutcher, La. The New Orleans native is survived by children Alton, Theresa, Eddie, David and Shirley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Nicolosi and Anita Bye Nicolosi. Visitation was at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco Tuesday October 30-31. A Catholic prayer session was also held Wednesday, October 31 at Alexander funeral home.
Pollet
Stanley Joseph Pollet, a loving father, husband, brother, and son, died on October 28, 2007 at age 44.
He was a resident of Alabama and native of Lutcher, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Coneglio, daughter Danielle Pollet, sons Rhys and Mason Pollet, along with step-children Aaron and Summer Coneglio. Also survived by father, Lloyd Pollet Sr., mother, Gwynne “Feenie” Bordelon, brother, Lloyd “Poochie” Pollet Jr., sisters, Lori Taylor, Nikki Eymard, and Erica Bordelon, and step brother Louis “Snookie” Savoie, as well as a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held at Rose Lynn Funeral Services on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A service followed at Rose Lynn Funeral Service.
Rose Lynn Funeral Services are in charge of the arrangements.
Moody
Godfrey “Mike” Moody Sr., 70 died Thursday October 25 at Thibodeaux Regional Medical Center. The Vackerie, La. native is survived by wife Barbara Bayile Moody; children, Denise, Marvlyn and Godfrey Jr; siblings, John Lucas Sr., Mary Lee Nelson, Herman Bright, Augustine Rome, Gloria Narcisse, Brenda, Lawrence Sr., Calvin Champagne, JoAnn, Raynell Michael Sr., Lawrence Jr., Morris Moody. Also survived by twelve grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents AnnieBelle Champagne and Lawrence Moody Sr.; siblings, Stephanie C. Joseph, August Celestine. Visitation will be held November 3, 2007 at 9 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Father Louis Oubre will be the celebrant. Internment will be at St. Luke B.C. Cemetery St. James, La.
Hymel
Arnold Antoine Hymel Sr., 89, died October 30, 2007. The Norco native and Destrehan resident is survived two sons, Arnold “Sonny” Hymel Jr., Lynn C. Hymel; a daughter, Delores Hymel Bebic; brother; Clement Hymel; sister, Rose Hymel Trosclair. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, Delores Duhe; parents, Etienne Hymel and Regina Songy Hymel; brothers, Alban Hymel and Gererd Hymel; sister, Blandine H. Williams; grandchildren, Christie Hymel and Brandon Hymel.
Visitation was Friday, November 2, 2007 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Norco from 10am until the mass of Christian burial at 12 p.m. Reverend Terry Hayden was the celebrant. Entombment followed at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
Douglas
Gwen Marie Duhe’ Douglas, 54, died at her home in Montz, LA at 10:25 p.m. on October 29, 2007. Gwen was a former resident of LaPlace and grew up in Norco, LA. She is survived husband, Bruce Douglas; daughter, Heather Douglas Rico; son, Michael Douglas; siblings, Roger Duhe’, Brenda Duhe’ Olavarrieta, and Roy Joseph Duhe’. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, Dazie Rose Cambre Duhe’ and Roy E. Duhe’ Sr.; brother, Gregory Douglas Duhe’.
Visitation will begin Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow immediately after at 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, LA and will be conducted by Father Terry Hayden. Entombment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan, LA.

Adams
Stanley Henry Adam, 81, died October 31, 2007 in Jefferson. Adams was a native of New Sarpy and resident of Norco. He is survived by wife, Margaret Baylis Adams; daughter, Mary Adams Jacob; brother, Raymond Adams; sister, Irene Lashbrook. Also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Sophie and Henry Adams; brother, Roland Adams; sister, Audrey Hymel.
Visitation and Mass of Christian burial was Friday, November 2, 2007 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco. Terry Hayden was celebrant. Entombment followed at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
