KEATING

Hilda Jacob Keating, 92, died on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at 6:35 p.m.
She was the wife of the late Alphonse Keating and was the mother and mother-in-law of Ferrol (Coco) and Frances Keating.
She was the grandmother of Glen and Robert Keating and Lynne Miller and great-grandmother of Aaron, Jennifer and Megan Keating, Amanda, Tiffani and Taylor Miller.
She was the daughter of the late Jerome and Noelie Jacob and sister of the late Nolan and Herman Jacob.
She was a native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace for the past 70 years.
Her burial is in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
MONTZ
Lena Stein Montz died on Tuesday, Septmeber 18, 2007, at the age of 92.
She was the wife to Carl J. Montz, Sr.
She was the mother of Betty Duhe, Sandra Lasseigne, Carl J. Montz Jr., Katherine DeSilvey, Elizabeth Laiche, Perry Montz and Terry Montz.
She was the mother-in-law of Judy Montz, Bridget Montz, David DeSilvey, Douglas Laiche, the late Oswald Duhe and Wayne “Whitey” Lasseigne.
She had 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and was awaiting the birth of her next great-grandson.
She is survived by her sister, Elucia S. Duhe and preceded in death by her husband, her parents Elucia and Louis Stein, Sr. and seven brothers and sisters.
She was a lifelong resident of Reserve.

PFEIFER
Mary Orman Bourgeois Pfeifer, 78, died on Friday, Septmeber 21, 2007, at 4:17 p.m. at her home in Norco, La.
She is survived by son, Clifford Paul Bourgeois Jr. and wife Beth; three daughters, Deborah Bourgeois Pitre and husband Cleve Sr.; Gayle Bourgeois Alexopouios and husband Nick and Robin Bourgeois Hedrick and husband Jake; eight grandchildren, Cleve Pitre Jr., Billy PItre, Amy Pitre Vaquez, Brooke Pitre, Kelsey Bourgeois, Darnan Ervin, Jason Ervin and Brittany Bourgeois; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Paul Bourgeois Sr.; second husband, Paul Pfeifer; parents, Walter Onman and Helen Laughlin Orman; two sisters, Helen Cunningham and Margie Jakee; and brother, Billy Evans.
A native of New Orleans and resident of Norco, she was retired from the Norco Post Office.
H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco is in charge of arrangements.
STERLING
Alfred Sterling Sr. died on Wednesday, September 19, 2007.
He left his children, a brother, two sisters-in-law, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one godchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Noel Sterling, his parents, a son, a daughter, two sisters and three brothers.
Private services will be held.
