Bernadette Klibert Ocmand, 83, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. She was the wife of the late Claude Ocmand Sr. and mother and mother-in-law of David and Patricia Ocmand, Claude, Jr. and Linda Ocmand, Chris and Lydia Ocmand, Stephen and Anna Ocmand, Tama and Barry Forsyth, Joel and Sonya Ocmand, Kirk and Christy Ocmand, Cory and Cindy Ocmand, Lisa and Joe Brasington and Jeffery and Vicky Ocmand.
She was the daughter of the late Lionel and Linda Trosclair Klibert and also was survived by 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a native and resident of Reserve. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, Laplace.
ENGLADE SR.
Norman Louis Englade Sr., a long time resident of Reserve, died on Friday, September 7, 2007.
He was 87 years old.
Englade was a veteran of World War II serving nine years in the U.S. Army Air Force, member of V.F.W. Post 5004, member of American Legion Post 0159, retired 30-year machinist with Shell Cemical Co. and former Scout Master of Reserve Troop 316.
He was born in Destrehan to the late Genevieve St. Amant Englade and Rene L. Englade. He was the husband for 57 years to Olga Scioneaux Englade and was the father of Margaret Englade Webb and son-in-law David Webb of Baton Rouge and Norman L. Englade, Jr. and daughter-in-law Libby Mollere Englade of Reserve. He was the grandfather to five grandchildren: Andrew Webb, Christie, Erica, Halie and Sadie Englade.
He is survived by brother Nathan Englade and preceded in death by sister Thelma Englade Jaubert.
Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace is handling arrangements.
PERTUIT
John Richard Pertuit died Friday, August 31, 2007.
He was a WWII veteran.
Pertuit was preceded in death by his father John Howard (Jean-Baptiste) Pertuit, mother Marguerite Hebert Pertuit and sister Pearl Bealer.
He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Audrey Waguespack Pertuit, and children Diane Smith, Linda Rovira and John J. (J.J.) Pertuit, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and his brother George Pertuit and half-brother Jimmy Vinet.
Alexander Funeral Home of Lutcher is in charge of arrangements.
