ST. MARTIN Nelson Johnny St. Martin, died on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 7:20 am.

He ws the husband of Mary Duhe St. Martin. Father and father-in-law of Juanita and Benny Bacas, Joseph St. Martin, Jennifer and Jerry Thiele and John St. Martin. Grandfather of Jace St. Martin. Son of Mary St. Martin and the late Nelson St. Martin. Brother of Lynn and Allen St. Martin, Mary Frances Breaud and Carol Ann St. Martin. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was a member of The U.S. Marine Corps serving during The Vietnam Conflict. Age 58. A native and resident of Laplace. Relatives and friends of the family, also St. John The Baptist Sheriff Dept., were invited to attend services.

Services held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Laplace, on Tuesday, August 21 followed by religious services at the church at 10 am. Burial in St. John Memorial Gardens, Laplace. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, Laplace.

Gibson

Julie Simoneaux Gibson was welcomed into Jesus’ arms on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 4:45 p.m. at the age of 66. Wife of the late Roy &#8220Hoot” Gibson. Daughter of the late Edgar T. Sr. and Elmire Simoneaux. She is survived by two sisters, Kathleen Richard and Yolande Brignac, and one brother, Sheldon Simoneaux. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edgar T. Jr., &#8220John” Millard, &#8220Charles” Wayne, and Floriska &#8220Icky” Guedry. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was a native of Norco and a resident of New Orleans for 25 years.

Services were held at Alexander Funeral Home, 821 4th St., Norco, on Friday August 17, 2007.
