Hershel Langley passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, at age of 70.

He is survived by his wife, Betty C. Langley; a daughter and son-in-law, Shawn and William &#8220Sonny” Tauton; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Suzette Langley; seven grandchildren, Alexandra Taunton, Caroline Taunton, Ethan Taunton, Isabella Langley, Hudson Taunton, Luke Taunton, and Preston Langley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ortman Langley Sr. and Lucy Ledet Langley, a brother Ortman Langley Jr.; and a sister Juanita Pemberton. He was a native of Norco and a resident of Luling, LA. A private memorial service was held, Thursday, August 9, 2007 at H.C Alexander Funeral Home of Norco, LA.

Infant Jamie Paul Harris, Jr. died on Sunday, August 5,2007 in Metairie, LA. Survived by Jaime Paul Harris, Sr. and Kimberly Marie Trahan, grandparents, John Gleen Rowell and Brenda Trahan, also survived numerous other family members. A Graveside Service was be held Friday August 10,2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose, LA at 2 PM.

Vicknair

Dalton Joseph &#8220Jellyroll” Vicknair Sr, died on Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Lutcher, LA. Husband of the late Rose LeBlanc Vicknair. Son of the late Jordan Vicknair, Sr., and Aline Boudreaux Vicknair. Frather of Dalton Vicknair Jr., and wife of Frances Allen Vicknair, Patricia Vicknair Cooper, the late Steven Vicknair and Christine Vicknair Miculek. Brother of the late Joran Vicknair Jr, and Evelyn Vicknair Cambre. Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Age 79. A native of LaPlace, and a resident of Lutcher, he was a retired operator with kaier and U.S. Army Veteran.

Entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

Evelyn Lambert Deroche died Thursday, August 9, 2007 in Gramercy, LA.

Wife of the late Allen Deroche, Sr., and Myrtie Lambert. Mother of Allen &#8220 Andy” Deroche, Jr. and wife Alice Deroche, Blane Deroche, and wife Alice Deroche, Blane Elizabeth Deroche, Marsha and Raymond Bourgeois, Jane and Edward Babin, Ava and Otis Schexnayder, Ginger and Raymond Poche. Sister of Ernest Lambert, Jr., Lloyd Lambert, Iris McClung, Grace Louque, and the late Ruth Mae Lambert. Grandmother of 17 and the late Chad Babin. Seven great-grandchildren. She was 77 years old, a native of Convent, LA, and a resident of Gramercy, LA.

Mass of a Christian Burial was at on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Gramercy, LA.

Entombment was at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina, LA.
