St. John’s Little League team recently traveled to Grand Junction, Colorado to compete in the Southwestern Regional tournament. St. John came through with an 11-6 victory over host Three River (Carbonvdale, Co.) before bowing out after losing to Washington County (Texas), 11-6.

St. John collected twelve hits in the win over Three River. Starter Shane McNeil allowed six runs on four hits and walked four in three innings. Ritchie Terrio came on in relief and gave up two hits and no runs.

Henri Faucheaux and Austin Vicknair each had three hits for St. John, as it eliminated Three River.
