Anderson

Dow Anthony “Eyes” Anderson, 22, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Friday, May 18, 2007.
He was the father of Darius Harris, the son of Roxanne Anderson and Clarence Watson, the brother of Tierra Corbitt, Frederick Thomas and Anthony, Christopher, Lakisa and Cory Anderson and the grandson of Lawrence Anderson Sr. and the late Merdell Anderson.
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Services were held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Providence II Baptist Church in Montz, followed by interment at Montz Memoria Cemetery, Montz.
Blanyer
Winne Rita “Aunt Nee” Waguespack Blanyer, a resident of Norco and former resident of Paulina, died Friday, May 25, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Stevens “Steve” Josephy Blanyer, step-mother of Ellenanne Pittman and Richard and Ronald Blanyer, daughter of the late Louis and Delphine Landaiche Waguespack and sister of Marie Rome, Norman “Wag”, Edmond “Buddy” and Frederick “Fru” Waguespack and the late Mabel Webre and Almoundra “Blackie”, Hubert, George, Louis “Baby” and Norine Waguespack.
She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 453 Spruce St. in Norco, followed by services at noon and interment at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
Foret
Thelma Roussel Foret, 87, a native of convent and resident of Lutcher, died Saturday, May 26, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Thomas “Buster Foret III, the mother of Jacquelyn Melancon, Peggy Harrington, Carolyn Stephens, Colette Brignac and Rebecca, Kenneth “Wop”, Richard “Footy”, Ellis “Elka” and the late Thomas “Tommy” Foret IV, daughter of the late Morgan and Carmen Ayme Roussel and the sister of Pearl Hymel, Beverly Anderson, Carmen Gaudet, Wilson Roussel and the late Sister Mary Germaine, OP, and Earl “Yo”, Morgan and Wilhelm Roussel.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 8 a.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher, followed by services at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Paulina and entombment at the church mausoleum.
Keller
Velma Melancon Keller, 78, a native of Gramercy and resident of Paulina, died Saturday, May 26, 2007.
She was the wife of the late Louis Chanel St. Pierre Jr., by first marriage, and the late Victor Keller, by second marriage, and mother of Rose Louque and Tina and Sidney St. Pierre, the daughter of the late George and Justine Landry Melancon, the sister of Rita Mae Lambert, Gladys Crowe, Buddy, Bobby and Dudley Melancon, and the late Earline Labat.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, followed by services at 3 p.m. and entombment at the church mausoleum.
Lambert
Edward Jean “Ned” Lambert, 86, a resident of Convent, died Friday, May 25, 2007.
He was the husband of Rita Mae Melancon Lambert, the father of Vera Poche, Donna McCoy and Edward “Bud”, Dennis, David, Jhan and Timothy Lambert, son of the late Edward and Uranie Proiezy Lambert and brother of Rose Melancon and the late Marie, Alvin, Felonise and Maurice Lambert.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren and is survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services were held Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, followed by interment at the church mausoleum.
