New Wound Care Center opens at St. James Parish Hospital

St. James Parish Hospital, in affiliation with River Parishes Hospital, introduces a Wound Care Center at St. James Parish Hospital. St. James Parish Hospital and River Parishes Hospital are working together to bring excellence in hard-to-heal wounds to St. James Parish. Dr. Charles McGaff is the Medical Director for the Wound Care Center at St. James Parish Hospital.
“At the Wound Care Center at St. James Parish Hospital, patients will receive the attention of a physician and nurses who have advanced training in chronic wound care,” says Dr. McGaff.
Do you need the Wound Care Center?
If you have a sore or wound that hasn’t started to get significantly better in a month, or healed entirely in two months, you should ask your doctor about The Wound Care Center at St. James Parish Hospital.
The doctors and nursing staff at the Wound Care Center will work with your doctor. Your doctor will be updated on your progress and your treatment program.
