The Riverside Academy Rebel golf team defeated the St. Martin’s Saints golf team at Belle Terre Country Club on Tuesday by a score of 168-181.
The Rebels were led on the rainy day outing by Ryan Castille, who shot a 39 through nine holes while Brett Lamonte scored a 41.
David Serven and Chris Sharpless turned in scores of 43 and 45 respectively, which resulted in the Rebs posting a team score of 168.
The Rebels had a Thursday scheduled match that was rained out, but Riverside coach Roy Aubert said that the date will be made up in the near future.
“We had to push back Thursday’s match because the course was just still too wet from all the rain this week,” Aubert said. “But Belle Terre has always been able to work with me in getting things rescheduled. So we’ll make it up with Lutcher and St. Charles when we get the chance.”
The Rebels schedule has them taking on Newman coming up this Tuesday at Belle Terre before facing Lutcher in a duel at Riverlands on Wednesday.
