St. Charles Parish Hospital held its Service Award Banquet Wednesday night at the Satellite Center.

The banquet began with hospital CEO Fred Martinez thanking the honorees for the dedication and service. Martinez addressed the hospital’s expansion, describing the three story patient care tower currently under construction. He also detailed the new educational programs for staff, designed to improve skills with new technology and enhance the over all quality of care provided by the hospital. The message was that St. Charles Parish Hospital is growing, and staff members are a vital part of this growth.

Honorees were treated to a wonderful meal prepared by students at the Satellite Center. Following the meal, awards were given to honorees for their years of outstanding service. Employees who served five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five and thirty years were honored. Each honoree was presented with a token of the hospital’s gratitude for their years of service. Also recognized at the banquet were the hospital’s Employee of the Year, Carla Jett-Expose’, Rehab Services, and Manager of the Year, Carol Faucheaux, Human Resources.
