Sheriff Greg Champagne reports that a join operation on January 30, 2007, with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Thibodaux District of the Louisiana Probation & Parole to locate and arrest individuals with probation violations and outstanding warrants netted 12 arrests for various violations. The following individuals were arrested during the operation. Additional arrests are expected.

&#8220This operation was initiated by Farrell Vellion, district administrator of the Thibodaux Probation and Parole office and is an example of the multi agency cooperation necessary to address habitual offenders,” stated Sheriff Champagne.

The following people were arrested:

Roland Breaux, 20, 14740 Cajun Paradise, Paradis; possession with intent to distribute schedule IV CDS to wit (alprazolam), probation violation.

Alphonse Butler, 59, 369 South Kinler St., Boutte; probation violation.

Rudolph Dent, 25, 404 Killona Drive, Killona; fugitive JPSO attachment.

Kayla Folse, 18, 14740 Cajun Paradise, Paradis; obstruction of justice (harboring a fugitive), possession with intent to distribute schedule IV CDS to wit (alprazolam), 4 – 29th Judicial District Attachments, warrant for theft under $100.

Cecil Jacobs, 55, 14655 Old Spanish Trail, Paradis; probation and parole violation.

Angela Lindsay, 36, 34 West B St., Norco; probation and parole violation

Angela Maher, 21, 34 West B St., Norco; 2 – 29th Judicial District Attachments, fugitive JPSO warrant .

Michelle Morgan, 27, 103 Carolyn Drive, Destrehan; possession of schedule II CDS to wit cocaine.

James Perkins Jr., 36, 209 Riverview Drive, St. Rose; probation and parole violation.

Duritta Turley, 41, 200 Boutte Estates Apt. 253, Boutte; probation and parole violation.

Chance Voros, 30, 431 Monsanto Ave., Luling; probation and parole violation, possession of schedule II CDS to wit cocaine, 2 – 29th Judicial District Attachments.

Travis White, 23, 153 Killona Drive, Killona; probation and parole violation.
