Dale Paul &#8220Rock” Laiche, 44, of Gonzales and a native of Lutcher, on Nov. 8, 2006 atSt. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales.

He was a former 911 dispatcher for the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and a truancy officer at Dutchtown High School.

He is survived by his mother, Leola T. Laixhe of Gonzaeles, aunt Arthemise Troxclair of Gonzales brothers Donald j. Laiche and wife Beth of Praireville, Darrel and wife Liz of Gonzales, and David P and wife Melissa Laiche of Baton Rouge.

Surviving sisters are, Donna L. Schexnayder and husband Kent of Gonzales, Denise L. Fontenot and husband Timmy of Sorrento, nieces Wendy Dale Schexnayder, Kacie E Laiche, Nicole L. Blackwell, Stephanie A Laiche, Jennifer L Laiche, Cpl. Kelli M. Laiche and Shelbie L. Fontenot.

Also survived by nephews Jaime M. Laiche, Wade M. Schexnayder and Brandon M. Fontenot, special friends Ralph and Robin Ramirez and godmother Anna Lee Oubre of Gramercy.

Preceded in death by father Raymond J. Laiche, maternal grandparents louis Leon Troxclair Sr. and Marie Melanie Schenayder Troxclair, paternal grandparents Levy J. Laiche Sr. and Ludivine poche Laiche and godfather Vernon J. Troxclair.

Services were held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales.
