It was a rough day for Wildcat volleyball last Saturday as both the East St. John and Destrehan’s LadyCat squads fell in the bi-district round of the Division V playoff bracket.

ESJ had an uphill battle when they hit the road for their match against Dutchtown. As the number 30 seed, the LadyCats drew the number three-seeded Dutchtown..

Darielle Sanders and Trenise Evans led the ESJ squad this season in a rebuilding year for the LadyCats after losing a handful of starters early in the season to a 6-23 record.

Destrehan, meanwhile, was swept in their road match at Lafayette by scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-20. They finish their season this year with a 10-18 record.
