Thursday’s game with Riverside rescheduled for this Thursday at SCC

St. Charles volleyball picked up their second district win over John Curtis on Tuesday to put the Lady Comets at 3-1 in district play heading into this week where they are set to host Riverside.

Against the Patriots, SCC stumbled out of the gate and fell in the first game by a score of 13-25. But the Lady Comets adjusted and tied things up with a 25-12 win. From there, things got competetive as the SCC squad escaped in the third and fourth games with consecutive victories by scores of 25-23 and 25-22.

Ashley Trosclair helped lead the charge for the Lady Comets, recording 28 digs for the defensive effort. The team’s lone senior, Gina Monica, kept the offense steady with 25 assists. Lauren Coniglio led in kills with ten while Katie Tregre had five aces.

The Riverside vs. St. Charles match this Thursday is a rescheduled match after the original date had to be delayed because of a lack of officials
