LAPLACE-Marilyn H. Daigle, 70, of Reserve died at River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace Sept 2, 2006. She was born in Gramercy and is the wife of Leonard J. Daigle.

She is preceded in death by parents, Amelus and Esperus Hymel and was an only child.

She is survived her husband and six children Charles Daigle, Sandy Shields, Phyllis Daigle Martinez, Donna Hoffman, Ralph Daigle, and Amy Berthelot. Seven grandchildren Tania and Gregory Loyd, Stevie, Heather and Jayce Hoffman, Jennifer Daigle and Amy Berthelot. andmany in-laws, relatives and friends also remember her.

Services were held at 11:00 am Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve.

Hymel

RESERVE-Phyllis Ann Hymel,58, of Reserve on September 7, 2006. She is the beloved daughter of Edwina D. Hymel and the late Daniel Hymel Sr. and the sister of Danny Hymel.

Services were held at St. Peter Catholic Churh in Reserve on Sept. 9. 2006.

Jones

ST. JAMES-Ulysses S. Jones, 79, of St. Jameson Sept. 1, 2006 at Elizabeth Seton Hospital in Gonzales. He was the sone of the late Allen Jones Sr. and Leola Nelson Jones and husband of Alice Landry Jones of St. James.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Sylvinia, Edward (Priscilla), Sherman (Ora), Ulysses Jr., Michael, Stevenson Sr. (Rhea), Sullivan Sr., (Joycelyn), Larry and Danny (Carlatta) Jones, Joann Williby, Sheila Alsay, Patricia Bell, the late Kerry, Marie, Nelson, Paul and Alfred Jones.

Also survived by 30 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews cousins, relatives and friends.

Services were held 11:00 am Sept. 7, 2006 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in St. James.

Martin

NORCO-Geraldine Martin, 72, of Norco on Sept. 7, 2006 at home. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander Sr. and Odessa Miller and stepdaughter of the late Johnny Miller.

She is survived by husband Auguste Martin Jr. and siblings Rev. Vernon Alexander

(Yvonne) Sr., Arthur (Alberta) Bailey Sr, Lawrence (Alma Lee) Bailey, Lurlee A. Green, the late Elosie Johnson, Rev, Robert Sr., Joseph Miller Jr., and Edmond Alexander.

Services will be held Wednesday Sept. 13, 2006 at Greater Good Baptist Church in Norco.

Miller

VACHERIE-Vivian Louper Miller, 65, of Vacherie on Sept. 6, 2006 at River Parishes Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alexis and Beatrice August Louper and wife of the late Sterling P. Miller.

She is survived children Erica and Keith Miller and grandchildren of Keith II, Ke’ Ira, Keiana VonTre Miller, and Brittany Tuco.

Sister and sister in Law of Marion Pierre (Raymond, Lona haw (Frank), Ann Johnson, Daniel (Cheryl), George (Sheila) Louper and Clarence Fobb. The late Rita Fobb, Alexis, Keith and Della louper. And niece Edwina Lumar.

Services to be held Sept 13, 2006 at St. john the Baptist Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
