LULING – The St. Charles Sheriff’s Office was successful in removing two alleged thieves from the Luling area Monday, Sheriff Greg Champagne reports.

Brandon Naquin, 18, and Ryan Hebert, 17, both of Waggaman, were arrested and charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and Possession of Stolen Property, after deputies observed the subjects walking on Lakewood Drive in Luling.

Deputies noticed the subjects appeared to be very nervous. After stopping the two men, deputies found the men to be in possession of two screwdrivers, a center punch and a small flashlight in their pants pockets. The subjects then informed the deputies they were in the neighborhood to &#8220steal CD players.”
