St. James man pleads guilty to reduced charge

CONVENT — Three years after his arrest in the summer of 2006, a St. James Parish man pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.

According to the St. James Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, Jonathan L. Henriques pleaded guilty to misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile on Sept. 14, 2009.

Henriques received a sentence of six months in jail and was given credit for time served, according to the St. James Parish Clerk of Court’s Office.

At the time of his arrest, Henriques, born 10-8-1979, was listed as a Convent resident.
