HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne report that Linda Kay Costanza of Norco, last seen by her family on July 8, has been found safe.

After news reports came out Thursday evening, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office received several phone calls regarding the case, and one that led officers to Touro Hospital in New Orleans.

It was later determined that Costanza was found on July 10, walking the streets of New Orleans, and brought by ambulance to Touro Hospital. She was then admitted in the mental ward of the hospital.

Her family picked Costanza up Friday at Touro. According to family members, Costanza is doing fine. She had been living alone, and it is not known exactly when she left her residence between the time she was last seen and when she was noticed missing. The sheriff’s office said her family will move her in with relatives.
