LAPLACE – A.J. Fayard, 69, a resident of LaPlace, died July 10.

He is survived by children Millie and Huey Fayard, Theresa Hollister and Connie Ferrell.

He is also survived by grandchildren Paul Fayard, Delina and Susan Harrison, Jennifer and Jake Hollister, Sybil and David Lamartiniere and 5 great-grandchildren.

GARYVILLE – Mickey Oncale, 55, a native and resident of Garyville died July 11.

He was the husband of Barbara Loupe Oncale.

He is survived by mother Joyce D. Oncale.

He is also survived by children Nikki, Lee, and Lance Oncale and siblings Albert, Paul, Stephen Bruce, Kathy and Ted Oncale, Ann Selser and Gail Steib.

Services were held July 13 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

ST. JOHN – Ita &#8220Tay” Pratt, 65, a native of Louisiana, died July 7 at her home in Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held in Louisiana at a later date.

LUTCHER – Edith Weber Steib, 81, died July 10 at St. James Parish Hospital.

She was the wife of Sylvester Steib, Jr.

She is survived by children Ingrid August, Sylvia Turbinton, Deborah Favorite, Kenneth and Rod Steib.

She is also survived by siblings Jeanette Savoie, Gwendolyn Cooper, Vada Ann Franklin, Sybil Nalls, Joseph and James Weber, and Alinda Johnson.

She was preceded in death by parents Roosevelt and Matcolia Weber.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Mercedes and Clyde Weber.

Services were held July 13 at St. James Catholic Church with interment in church cemetery.

VACHERIE – Genevia Landry Trench, 59, died at her residence in Vacherie July 6. She was the wife of Hamilton Trench.

She is survived by children Tara and Brian Domino and Tamara Trench.

She is also survived by siblings Alice Jones, Jules, Wilbert, Albert, Welman, and Herbert Landry.

She was preceded in death by parents Jules and rose Landry and sibling Noon Jones.

Services were held July 12 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James with interment in church cemetery.

METAIRIE – Rona Baudoin Vilemont, a native of LaPlace, died July 9.

She was the wife of the late Alvin H. Vilemont and her second husband the late John Clair.

She is survived by children Alvin Vilemont, Gail Milligan.

She was also survived by sister Maida Botts-Camp, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held July 12 Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette.
