ST. CHARLES – State Troopers investigated the scene of a fatal collision Friday, on U.S. 90, near the Jefferson Parish line.
Thomas Bradley, 63, of Kenner was pronounced dead on the scene after his 2000 Ford Windstar struck a Cox Communications vehicle, driven by Rostyle Griffin, 36, of Metairie, according to Investigating Officer Steve Volante.
The Ford was traveling westbound on U.S. 90, at which time for an unknown reason it crossed the median striking the Cox Communications truck driven by Griffin. Bradley’s vehicle burst into flames after the crash, forcing Troopers to pull the unconscious victim from
his Ford. He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Rostyle, the driver of the Cox Utility truck, suffered minor injuries, according to Trooper Joseph Piglia. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
It is unknown at this time if driver impairment was a factor in the crash.
Trooper Volante is continuing his investigation.
