Last week’s battle of the LaPlace country clubs found Belle Terre squeaking by with a 285.5 to 260.5 win over Riverlands.

Full results of the meet were unavailable as of press time last week. Scoring started out in favore of Riverlands as they took a 58.5-49.5 lead after the freestyle had concluded. Belle Terre kept it tight with dominant performances in the backstroke to take the lead back. The two teams would exchange first place finishes, keeping things at a virtual dead heat heading into the relays with less than 25 points seperating them. Riverlands cut into the lead with a handful of wins in the Medleys, but were unable to bring it closer after Belle Terre earned the exact same number of points in the freestyle relay.
