KENNER – Captain Octavio &#8220Ox” Gonzalez, 40, a native of Havana, Cuba and a resident of Kenner, died June 16 at River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace.

He was the husband of Gloria Breaux Gonzalez.

He is survived by his children Alexander and Bryson Gonzalez.

He is also survived by his mother Cantalicia Gonzalez, mother-in-law Gloria T. Breaux, siblings Caridad Artigas and Maria McGlophine, four brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law and 19 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Mario Gonzalez and a sister Marisol Artigas.

He was a Police Officer for the past 17 years. He was a member of Louisiana Tactical Police Officers Association, Louisiana Sheriff’s Association, Commander of the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation for the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office and Assistant Commander of the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Response Team.

Services were held June 20 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Metairie, with interment in the St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

KELLER

LUTCHER – Casey Anthony Keller, 21, a native of Lutcher and a resident of Clermont Harbor, Mississippi, died June 16.

He was the son of Paula Keller Garcia and Leon &#8220Lovey” Louque.

He is survived by his siblings Tara Keller (Jordan) Bailey, Deanna Louque, Emily Garcia, stepsister Jamie Bourgeois and stepbrothers Paul Bourgeois, Lee, Tony and Eugene Garcia III.

He is also survived by his stepfather Eugene Garcia Jr., stepmother Traci Elfer Louque, god-daughter-niece Nichelle Vasquez, nephew Jordan Bailey Jr., grandparents Ray Keller Sr., Kenneth and Ruth Louque, girlfriend Caroline Brewer, godmother-aunt Jane Keller Detillier, godfather-uncle Kenneth Jr. and Kim Louque, aunts and uncles Sharon and Glen Louque, Ray Jr., and Mimi Keller, Joan and Brent Zeringue, Craig Keller, Michael and Darcy Keller, Cindy and Randy Millet, James and Krissy Louque and cousins Bonnie, Travis and Grace Duhon, Leanne and Darren Millet, Kerry Louque, Monica and Joshua Poche, Ryan and Holly Detillier, Ashley, Shelbie and Jessie Zeringue, Callie Keller, Gabrielle, Mason and Dawson Keller, Randall Millet and Shannon, and Kerry and Kristen Louque.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Joyce Marie Duhe Keller, great-grandparents Milton and Elda Keller, Michael and Lorida Duhe, Alvis &#8220Big Rook” and Leona Ordoyne and Daniel and Elise Louque.

Services will be held June 22 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Paulina, with interment in the church cemetery.

Rose Lynn Funeral Services of Lutcher is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held today form 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the church.

KLIEBERT

RESERVE – Leon Kliebert, Jr., 86, a native of Paulina and a resident of Reserve, died June 16. He was the husband of the late Rae Vicknair Kliebert.

He is survived by children Inez Easley, Danny Kliebert and Carla Cambre.

He is also survived by siblings Allen, Otis, Garland and Buhel (Buddy) Kliebert and Rose Ballay, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leon Sr. and Elvina Kliebert and siblings Amy Michelli, Eunice Lucia, Gertrude and Velma Kliebert.

Services were held June 20 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in the church cemetery.

RESS

RESERVE – Fred H. Ress Jr., 80, a native of Reserve and a resident of Ventress. He was the husband of Lois K. Ress.

He is survived by his children Karen Burns and Fred H. (Genie) Ress III.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Michelle Zarate, Melissa Ling, Melanie Sparacino, Genevieve Ress and Natalie Ress and great-grandchildren Autumn and Eric Zarate and Mia Sparacino.

SCOTT

HAHNVILLE – Marie Jones Scott, 88, a native of Taft and a resident of Hahnville, died June 15. She was the wife of the late Willie Scott Sr.

She is survived by her children Claire S. (Calvin) Scott, Juanita S. (Robert) Tellock Sr., Willie Jr., Ralph Scott, Mary Scott (Lawrence), Joan S. (Joseph) Dee, Sylvia S. (Jessie) Johnson, Rita S. (Winston) Joseph, Blondia S. (Roland) Paul, Donald (Gwen) Scott, Gail S. Joseph (Donald Gloston) and Teresa S. (Wayne) Sandolph.

She is also survived by siblings Octavia J. Preston and Thelma J. Simpson, 48 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, two devoted nieces Geneva Dorsey and Louise DeShield, three beloved nephews Mitchell Carter, Thomas Jones Jr. and Gilford Goines.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Odile Victor Jones, a daughter Ethel Scott, siblings Thomas Jones Sr., Antoinette J. Price, Edna J. Smith, Emanuel Jones, Geneva J. Scott, Justine Jones and Edward Jones Jr., father-in-law Arthur Scott and mother-in-law Leona Daisy Jack.

WEIMER

LAPLACE – Ray G. Weimer, 90, a native of Garyville and a resident of Good Hope and LaPlace, died June 17. He was the husband of Camille Nola Weimer.

He is survived by his siblings Hazel W., Anderson and Russell &#8220Cotton” Weimer.

He is also survived by nieces Karen &#8220Sister” Williamson and Rita &#8220Pita” Roussel.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sr. and Lucille Haydel Weimer and siblings Joseph Jr., Albert and John &#8220Yut” Weimer, Lucille W. Lambert, Mary &#8220Gertie” Walters and Norma W. Vial.

Services were held June 20 at Ascension of Our Lord, LaPlace, with interment in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan.
