Fugitive sought by St. John

RESERVE — The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office are looking for a 25-year-old Reserve man, who fled after a brief pursuit, on drug-related charges.

Maj. Mike Tregre, spokesman for the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office, said a warrant was issued for Davis Sinclair on Feb. 13, two days after he fled from officers in a motor vehicle, then on foot.

Sinclair’s Passenger, Davis King, 48, was arrested at the scene and remains in custody on a $75,500 bond, set by Judge Mary Hotard Becnel. King was charged with enter/remain in place after forbidden, or trespassing, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, according to information provided by the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office.

&#8220Sinclair fled on foot after a brief pursuit in a vehicle on Joe Parquet Circle and Elm Street,” Tregre said. &#8220He may also have additional warrants for St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.”

Sinclair is faces charges of trespassing, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, resisting an officer by flight in a motor vehicle, resisting an officer by flight on foot, possession with intent to distribute 566 grams of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute 78 tabs of ecstasy, according to Tregre.

Sinclair is 6’3” and around 240 pounds. The last known addresses for Sinclair were listed as 182 NW 13th Street in Reserve, and 3008 Yorktown Drive in LaPlace.
