VACHERIE – Beatrice Johnson, 85, a native and resident of Vacherie, died April 20.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora Miller Johnson.

She is survived by her children Carolyn B. Henry, Patricia S. Harris, Celester Johnson and Rodney Johnson, and two grandsons she raised Eric P. Brown and Emanuel Smith Jr.

She is also survived by daughter-in-law Alinda W. Johnson and Theresa O. Johnson, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings Edward Johnson Sr., Bertha Jones, Henrietta Johnson, Roselia Johnson and Oliska Burham, son Robert Johnson, daughter Stephanie Johnson and a grandson Ryan V. Johnson.

Services were held April 25 at First Baptist Church, Vacherie, with interment in the church cemetery.

KELLER

HAHNVILLE – Clifford Anthony &#8220Jap” Keller Sr., 76, a native and resident of Hahnville, died April 23.

He was the husband of Betty Breaux Keller.

He is survived by his children Debora K. Breaux, Clifford A. Keller Jr., Clara Nicholas and Michael Paul Keller.

He is also survived by siblings Lionel Keller, Hilda Tregre, Shirley Vicknair and Daisy Rushing, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Amadee and Bernadette Champagne Keller and siblings Louis Keller and Carol Keller.

Services were held April 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft.
