Lady Rams clip Lady Eagles 14-7

West St. John softball has gotten a good jump on the season with a 5-2 record after beating Reserve Christian on Tuesday in Edgard by a score of 14-7.

After opening the game with a run in the top of the first inning, the Lady Rams went for five more in the second, which the Lady Eagles matched for a 6-5 score going into the third inning. While WSJ kept up their intesity from the batter’s box, scoring four more runs in their side, Reserve Christian could manage only two more points in the game. The Lady Rams wrapped it up with another four runs in the fourth to secure the victory.

Reserve Christian was able to take advantage of a pair of errors by the Lady Rams, scoring their seven points despite only three hits in the game. With the loss, the Lady Eagles fall to 0-4 on the season so far.
