LULING – Bernice Bergeron Boudreaux, 80, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Luling, died Feb. 11.
She was the wife of Ellis Bourdreaux.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Gaston P. Bergeron and Elaine Torres Bergeron.
She is also survived by three sisters-in-law Mable Louviere, Lucille Daigle and Rita Derouen.
Services were held Feb. 14 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.
DECOTEAU
LAPLACE – Colin Paul and Calen Anthony Decoteau, twin infants, of LaPlace, died Feb. 9.
They were the sons of Brent and Wanda LaCarbo Decoteau.
They are survived by their brothers Brent Jr., Cody and Cade Decoteau.
They are also survived by their grandparents Peter Jr. and Beatrice Lambert LaCarbo and Curtis and Deanna Parent Decoteau.
Services were held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina.
GORDON
EDGARD – James “Jambo” Gordon Sr., 62, a native of Wallace and a resident of Edgard, died Feb. 9.
He was the husband of Linda Gordon.
He is survived by James (Antoinette) Gordon Jr., Jacqueline (Dwayne) Williams, Charlene (Jeffery) Borne Sr., Rosalyn (Roland) Fiffe Jr., Carmen (Gary) Lewis, LaConi, Darriel, Lashonda, Marissa and Tequila Gordon.
He is also survived by siblings Thomas Gordon and Geraldine Boudoin, intended daughter-in-law Kalonda Bartley, mother-in-law Viola Lewis, 12 sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, 27 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment in the church cemetery.
Bardell’s Mortuary of Mt. Airy is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the church.
HAMILTON
LAPLACE – Isabella K. Hamilton, 81, a native of Burnside and a resident of LaPlace, died Feb. 6.
She was the daughter of the late Albertha and Alex Kelson Sr.
She is survived by her children Ella Jones, Brenda McKinney, Michael, Patricia and Charles Hamilton.
She is also survived by her siblings Bertha Smith, Alex Sr., David, Melvin and Earnest Kelson, daughters-in-law Esmeralda Hamilton, DeJuana Hamilton, Verlina Jackson and Angelina Jackson, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 11 at Rescue Mission Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment in Zion Travelers Cemetery, Reserve.
MILLER
RESERVE – Pauline Perrilloux Miller, 81, a native and resident of Reserve, died Feb. 8.
She was the wife of the late Wilfred Miller Sr.
She is survived by her children Tyrone Peter Miller, Laura M. Lipps, Wilfred “Manee” Miller Jr. and Lydia M. Gerard.
She is also survived by siblings Rita P. Dents and Clarence Perrilloux Jr., godchildren Ronald Dents Sr. and Nathaniel Fields, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harriet Lawrence and Clarence Perrilloux Sr. and a sister Lydia Perrilloux.
Services were held Feb. 14 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
SARTAIN
NEW ORLEANS – Gregory Renee Sartain Jr., 19, a native and resident of New Orleans, died Feb. 6.
He was the son of Rhonda Gross Poole and Gregory R. Sartain Sr.
He is survived by his siblings Samar Poole and Arlondriah Sartain.
He is also survived by his stepfather Samuel Pool and stepmother Lakeysha Sartain, grandparents Laurel W. Gross, Rogest Gross Sr., companion Robin Booze and friend Kelby Reed.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother Leetta Johnson.
Services were held Feb. 13 at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Church, New Orleans, with interment in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Metairie.
VILLERET
RESERVE – Alvin “Yellow” Villeret Sr., 77, a native and resident of Reserve.
He was the husband of the late Marilyn Cortez Villeret.
He is survived by his children Alvin Jr. “Big Al” (Janel), Michael (Kitty) and Timothy (Tammy) Villeret.
He is also survived by his sister Bernice Tyler, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emile and Emerante Villeret and godparent Monsignor Eyraud.
Services were held Feb. 11 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in the church cemetery.
