GARYVILLE – Peter Bernard, 66, a native and resident of Garyville, died Jan. 15.
He was the husband of Willie Mae Bernard.
He is survived by children Bryant, Byron, and Dempsey Bernard and La Houma Snyder, stepchildren Louis and Timothy Scott.
He is also survived by siblings Donald, John, Paul and Steve Bernard, Elaine Easter, Yvonne Spruell, and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edmonia and Omer Bernard and siblings Compton and Edward Bernard and Rita Bell.
Services were held Jan. 20 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
BOLDEN
RESERVE – Mildred Mae Joseph Bolden, 54, a native and resident of Reserve, died Jan. 12. She was the wife of the late Perry Bolden, and mother of Terry Hart, Cheryl Placide, Nicole Hines, Perry Jr., Clarence Bolden, Timothy and Ernest Joseph, and the late Michael Bolden.
She was also the daughter of the late Isaac and Mildred Joseph, and sister of Jane Mae Lumar, Boddy Wasshington, Solomon, Ernest and the Rev. Arthur Joseph.
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at Tchoupitoulas Chapel Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions. Visitaton starts at 10 a.m.
DUPARD
LAPLACE – Felton “Horse” Dupard Sr., 87, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Paulina and LaPlace, died Jan. 13.
He was the husband of the late Rosie Dupard.
He is survived by his children Felton Jr., Lloyd, Milton Dupard and Marva Bowser.
He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Queen Dupard, siblings Gladys, Thelma and Herbert Dupard, wife by first marriage Roseanna Russell Dupard and children Louisa “Ella Mae” Morgan and Joyce Dupard.
Services were held Jan. 20 at Evergreen Baptist Church, Paulina, with interment in Antioch Cemetery, Paulina.
JOSEPH
RESERVE – Mildred Joseph, 54, a native and resident of Reserve, died Jan. 12. She was the wife of the late Perry Bolden.
She is survived by children Clarence Bolden, Timothy and Earnest Joseph, Terry Hart, Nicole Hines, Cheryl Placide and Perry Joseph, Jr.
She is also survived by siblings Arthur, Ernest, and Solomon Joseph, Jane Mae Lumar, Bobby Washington, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by parents Isaac and Mildred Joseph, and son Michael Bolden.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Jan. 21 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church
MORGAN
ST. ROSE – Charles A. Morgan, Sr., 73, a native of Garyville and a resident of Hammond and St. Rose, died Jan. 17.
He is survived by his children Charles Jr., and Regina Morgan.
He is also survived by siblings Marion Carter, James Morgan, and Dorothy Vinnett and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jeannette Blue and Henry Morgan and brother Henry Morgan, Jr.
Services were held Jan. 20 at Robottom Mortuary, Hahnville, with interment in St. Rose Cemetery, St. Rose.
O’BRYANT
PAULINA – Ronald K. O’Bryant, 58, a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Paulina died Jan. 18.
He was the husband of Susan O’ Bryant
He is survived by children David and Paul.
He is also survived by mother Juanita O’ Bryant, siblings Leahman O’ Bryant and Margie Ann Leslie and grandchildren Emily, Jacob, Jordan and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas O’ Bryant.
Services will be held at 8 a.m., Jan. 21 at First Baptist Church, Gramercy, with interment in Hunt’s Family Cemetery, Franklinton.

PENNINGTON
KENNER – Robert “Boo-la” Pennington, Jr., 38, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner, died Jan.
15. He was the husband of Sikita Treaudo Pennington.
He is survived by children Destiny and Destin Johnson, Adrena Norman, Altronique, Jeremy, Nikita, and Robert Pennington.
He is also survived by parents Gertrude and Robert Pennington, siblings Tecola Griffith, Ivory Pennington, step-siblings Dale, Galonda, George, Keith, and Stacy Griffith.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 21 at the Hill of Zion Baptist Church, Metairie with interment in St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, St. James.
WHITE
DESTREHAN – Sally Jane Carter, 71, a native and resident of St. Rose, died Jan. 18. She was the husband of the late Wilbur White.
She is survived by children Joan Loupe, Debbie Porche, David and Gary White.
She is also survived by siblings Jimmy Carter, Carolyn Mai, Eloise White, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 20 at First Baptist Church, St. rose with interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.
