ST. ROSE — One arrest has been made on an armed robbery, committed in St. Rose on Friday.

Allister A. Adams, 33, of 8534 Leake St., Baton Rouge, has been charged with armed robbery. His bond has been set at $250,000 by 29th Judicial District Judge Kirk Granier.

According to St. Charles Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Patrick Yoes, two men had been leaving an apartment on East Club Drive in St. Rose, one of the victims saying he needed to get home to sleep before going to work in the morning.

As they got outside, they were approached by two men, each of whom pointed handguns at the victims and demanded money. After the victims complied, they were each patted down for other items to possibly steal.

The men fled the scene but a description of one vehicle was broadcast, and a deputy spotted a suspect vehicle in the vicinity and performed a traffic stop at 11:32 p.m.

No guns or stolen items have been reported, and the other suspect is still being sought. The matter is under investigation.

Anyone with information to assist in the investigation should call the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office at (985) 783-6807.
