EDGARD – Gladys Steib Becnel, 59, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Edgard, died Nov. 10. She was the wife of Ellis Becnel Sr.

She is survived by her son Ellis (Latasha) Becnel Jr.

She is also survived by her siblings Murphy (Beatrice) Steib, Marely Pierre, Theresa (Earl), Lisa Steib and Ruby Joseph, grandchildren Jada, Janada and Jalacia Becnel, sister and brother-in-laws Michael Becnel, Stanley Rodney, Yolanda Jasmin, Bessie Jeffery, Adel Coulter and Sonya (Oliver) Winshcester and mother-in-law Agnelia O. Becnel.

She was preceded in death by her parents Theresa Smith and Murphy Steib Sr., one great-aunt Dorothy Smith Hensley, one brother-in-law Alec Pierre Jr., siblings Maxine Clarence and Gail Rodney and father-in-law Albert Becnel.

Services were held Nov. 14 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment in the church cemetery.

DONALDSON

RESERVE – Malcolm J. &#8220Mac” Donaldson, 81, a native and resident of Reserve, died Nov. 13. He was the husband of the late Lorlet Halk Donaldson.

He is survived by his children Donna (Cogan) Fulton, Leslye (late Darryl) Ellerbee, Malcolm (Pam) Donaldson Jr. and Taft (Tassy) Donaldson.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Joey, Trace and Ashley Donaldson, Michelle Landry, Darryl Jr., Jack and John Ellerbee, Beth E. Sullivan, Carolyn and Kathryn Fulton and Esther F. Black and Adrienne F. Haaga and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Denise Maurin Donaldson, siblings Beulah D. Rauchenbach, Edna Mae D. Jacob, twin brother Maurin C. Donaldson and a son Henry Donaldson.

Services were held Nov. 15 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

MAURIN

RESERVE – Audrey Englade Maurin, 76, a native and resident of Reserve, died Nov. 12. She was the wife of the late Don Maurin.

She is survived by her children Donny Maurin and George Maurin Sr.

She is also survived by her grandchildren James, Shaun and George Maurin Jr. and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ernestine Englade, daughter Lilly Marse and grandchildren Michael Maurin and Jennifer Marse.

Services were held Nov. 15 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in the church cemetery.

MILLET

GRAMERCY – Larry P. Millet, 72, a resident of Gramercy, died Nov. 11. He was the husband of Maelise Lambert Millet.

He is survived by his children Randy (Angela) Millet, Sandra (Randy) Alleman, Jamie (Wyade) Melancon, Debbie (Joey) Faucheux, Peggy (Maurice &#8220Boo”) Oubre, and Shelly (Murray) Poche.

He is also survived by his siblings Ethel Pollet, Elsie Martin, Rene &#8220T-White” and Raymond &#8220T-Black” Millet, 10 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-step-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rene and Fidelise Millet and a son Arnold Millet.

Services were held Nov. 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

POCHE

LAPLACE – Barbara Jouty Poche, 66, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Nov. 14. She was the wife of the late A.J. Poche.

She is survived by her children Rodney, Timmy and Randy Poche and Trudy Caronna.

She is also survived by her grandchild Dakota Poche.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rita Jouty, her brother Frank Jouty Jr. and a granddaughter Amanda Poche.

Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Millet Guidry Funeral Home Chapel, LaPlace, with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
