Damian Breaux and Paul Donaldson, Student Government Association presidents at Nicholls State University and Southeastern Louisiana University respectively, met last week to sign a proclamation that reestablishes the River Bell Classic football rivalry. The two schools will meet on the gridiron in Hammond on November 12 for the first time in more than 20 years. The winning team earns bragging rights and custody of the River Bell Classic trophy for one year. The SGA president of the losing institution also agrees to wear the winning university’s letters and sing its fight song at the next scheduled meeting of the Council of Student Body Presidents
