NEW ORLEANS – Anthony John “Sonny” Bennett Sr., 74, a native and resident of New Orleans, died Sept. 16.
He was the husband of Joan Tschantz.
He is survived by his children Tony (Lisa) Bennett, Toni Ann and Colleen Bennett.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Macy N. Bennett, Brandon M. Rehage Sr. and Sammy Capitano and his great-grandchild Brandon Rehage Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents Annie Hebert and Henry Bennett and his sister Edele Knecht.
Services were held Oct. 21 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.
HYMEL
LULING – Leontine Marie Hymel, 85, a native and resident of Luling, died Oct. 18.
She was the daughter of the late Lionel J. Hymel and Albertine Mercier Hymel.
She is survived by her siblings Conrad and Larry Hymel.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Lionel Jr., Hubert, Charles Hymel, Alma H. Bergeron, Odette H. Weber, Louise H. Chiasson, Evelyn H. Ingraham and Elodie Hymel.
Services were held Oct. 20 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment in the Crucifixion Mausoleum at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.
JOSEPH
NEW ORLEANS – Mary Rachel Joseph, 89, a native and resident of New Orleans, died Oct. 8.
She was the wife of the late Charlie Joseph.
She is survived by her son Louis Thomas Jr.
She is also survived by her brother Rev. David Jones, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, two grandson-in-laws and one sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by a son Cyril Bourgeois Jr.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at New Wine Christian Fellowship, LaPlace.
Hobson Brown Funeral Home of Garyville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church.
MIGLIORE
NEW SARPY – Anthony “Totsy” Henry Migliore, 80, a native of St. Rose and a resident of New Sarpy, died Oct. 19.
He was the husband of the late Lillian Weber Migliore.
He is survived by his children Don A. Migliore, Debbie M. Snyder, John Migliore and Brian D. Migliore.
He is also survived by his sister Anna Montz, grandchildren Janet, Ashley, Blair,

MILLET
MT. AIRY – Harold Joachim Millet, 80, a native of Mt. Airy and a resident of Metairie, died Oct. 15.
He was the husband of Alice Swick Millet.
He is survived by his children Dennis W., H. Richard “Rick”, John I., Gary A. and Karen M. Keller.
He is also survived by his siblings Pearl M. Peytavin and Haydee M. Van Manen, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son James Arthur, his parents Felix H. and Anna Laiche Millet and siblings Felix A. Millet, May M. LeBlanc, Grace M. Peytavin and Lynda M. Rouillier.
Services were held Oct. 19 at Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church, Metairie, with interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
OWENS
NORCO – Lois Ann Bourgeois Owens, 74, a native of Lutcher and a resident of Norco, died Oct. 19. She was the wife of Llewellyn E. “Lew” Owens.
She is survived by her children Robin (Anne) Owens, Randy Owens, Kim (Bryan) Madere and Jan (Charles) Marchand.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher “Rosco”, Destiny, Sherry, Adam, Brandi, Sean, Ashley and Chloe and great-grandchildren Lauren, Lacie, Bailey, Paul, Micayla, Kylee and Kaitlyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents Junius and Elsie Bourgeois and brother Gilbert Bourgeois.
Services will be held today at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, with interment in St. Charles Catholic Church Mausoleum, Destrehan.
