GRAMERCY – Frances Ferrara Bocz, 83, a native of Coral, Pennsylvania and a resident of Gramercy, died Aug. 13.

She was the wife of the late Emil Bocz.

She is survived by her children Elwyn Bocz, Keith “Skeet” Bocz and Emil Lou Bocz.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Kat Landry Bocz, grandchildren Celeste (Keith) Poche, Michael (Marie) Bocz, Michelle (Aaron) Jackson, Delton Berry, Matthew Bocz, Mitchell Bocz and Kim (John) Jackson, great-grandchildren Benjamin and Joshua Poche, Angel Harris and Serenity Jackson and siblings Angela Barron, Rosella Rugh, Santo (Ann) Ferrara Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Santo Ferrara Sr., a brother Joseph Ferrara and a sister Edith Bazala.

Services were held Aug. 15 at the Rose Lynn Funeral Home Chapel, Lutcher, with interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

CLULEE

BOUTTE – Lionel “Pops” Clulee, 63, a native of Gheens and a resident of Boutte, died Aug. 14.

He was the husband of Janice Terrebonne Clulee.

He is survived by his children Bryce (Bridgette) Clulee, Brad (Michelle) Clulee and Loni (Dennis) Monot.

He is also survived by his siblings Charles Clulee Jr., Neal Joseph Clulee, Marlene Clulee Savoie and JoAnn Clulee Schexnayder and grandchildren Kaili Morgan, Madison Clulee, Lance Zachary Monot and Kyle Austin Monot.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles J Sr. and Marie Dufrene Clulee and a brother Firmin Anthony Clulee.

Services were held Aug. 15 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Marrero, with private interment.

GORDON

LULING – Earl Gordon, 70, a native and resident of Luling, died Aug. 9. He was the husband of Rose Mary Gordon.

He is survived by his children Catina Gordon-Oates, Mandy Darensbourg, Christopher, Radley, Charles, Larry and Earl Gordon.

He is also survived by his siblings Charles, Amelia and Francis Gordon, Mathilda Singleton, Willie Mae Taylor, Eva Adams and Brenda Fuller, seven grandchildren, seven brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law and two godchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alice LeBeauf and Romalis Gordon and siblings Lawrence, Alvin, August and Romalis Gordon.

Services were held Aug. 15 at Bell Baptist Church, Luling, with interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Hahnville.

GROSS

LUTCHER – Valry Gross, 67, a native and resident of Lutcher, died Aug. 12.

He was the son of the late Dennis Jr. and Ethyl Valery Gross.

He is survived by his children Sharon G. Alexander, Lorna Gross, Kenneth, Dale and Jerome Bartley, Calvin and Alvin Aubert.

He is also survived by his siblings Ulysses, Lloyd, Edward, Rev. James and Royal Parnell and 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Beatrice Woods and Clarence Parnell Jr.

Services will be held Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. at Lutcher Chapel United Methodist Church, Lutcher, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Paulina.

Brazier-Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the church begins at 9:30 a.m.

LEBLANC

DES ALLEMANDS – Ida Marie Tastet LeBlanc, 92, a native of Raceland and a resident of Des Allemands, died Aug. 14.

She was the wife of George LeBlanc and the late Lester Leblanc Sr. by first marriage.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Savoie.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children Lester “Bobby” LeBlanc Jr., Lutie “Lou” Verda, Manfred LeBlanc, Carol “Catty” Alvarez and Marvin LeBlanc and her son and daughters-in-law Warren “Foot” Savoie, Clarice “Sis” LeBlanc, Leon Verda, Lee LeBlanc, Steve Alvarez and Shirley LeBlanc.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Des Allemands Mennonite Church, Des Allemands, with interment in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.

Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero is in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the church begins at 9 a.m.
