Hahnville’s 2005 softball senior class was a small oneŠwith just one lone senior Karla Troxler. Karla has helped Hahnville have four of the best years Hahnville has had in school history. Karla has helped the Lady Tigers to one State Tournament appearance. In 2004, with a .473 overall batting average and a .596 average in district, Troxler was always on base for the middle of the lineup to drive in. Karla is a triple threat player who cans drag bunt, slap hit with finesse and power, while also being able to drive the ball for multiple base hits. In district alone in 2004, she scored 28 runs while wrecking havoc on the base paths swiping 17 bases. In the playoffs, Troxler reached base all four times she came up to bat in the first round against Ouachita and scored the lone Lady Tiger run in the second round loss to Walker. Troxler was named to the All-District Team unanimously two years in a row and will continue to lead the Lady Tigers this season as a senior.
