MT. AIRY – James “Jr” Robinson III, 24, a native and resident of Mt. Airy, died April 17.
He was the son of Judy Robinson and the late James Robinson II.
He is survived by his fiancee Tonya Parnell and his son Jalin James Robinson.
He is also survived by his siblings, Gevona Rixner, Garland, Gayle and Gaylin Robinson and his grandmother, Vivian Braxton.
Services were held April 21 at the First Baptist Church, Reserve, with internment in Zion Travelers Cemetery, Reserve.
MULE
NORCO – Catherine “Katie” Mule, 80, a native of Reserve and a resident of Norco, died April 18.
She was the wife of the late Mikel Mule.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald and Donald Mule.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 20 at the Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with internment in the St. Peter Church Cemetery.
WAGUESPACK
VACHERIE – Ronald Joseph Waguespack Sr., 72, a native and resident of Vacherie, died April 18.
He was the husband of Emily Rodrigue Waguespack.
He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Morvant, Ramona Whitman, Reina Steel and his sons, Ronald Jr., Randy and Robby Waguespack.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his child, Ranelle A. Waguespack and his parents, James and Yvonne F. Waguespack.
Services were held April 21 at the St. Phillip Catholic Church, with internment in the St. Phillip Mausoleum.
SCHIFFERS
CONVENT – Louise Barbier Schiffers, 89, a native of Convent and resident of Lacombe, died April 20.
She was the wife of Gottfied Schiffers.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth G. and Ronald H. Schiffers.
She is also survived by her brother Louis Barbier and two grandchildren.
Services were held April 21 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Convent, with internment in the church cemetery.
BARRECA
NORCO – Barbara S. Barreca, 71, a resident of Norco, died April 20.
She is survived by her children, Frank and Michael Barreca, Karen McKinny, Sharon Pate and Deborah Stanton.
She is also survived by her brother Arthur D. Seale and five grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, with internment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.

BURKE
EDGARD – Barbara Ann Burke, 57, a native and resident of Edgard, died April 20.
She was the daughter of the late Irving and Viola Burke.
She is survived by her siblings Ethel Burke, Fellomae Bailey, Irving Burke Jr., Laura Burke, Morgan Burke and Steven Burke.
She is also survived by Troy Burke and Rachel Red she helped raise and her godchild Darren Bailey.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. At the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with internment in the church mausoleum.

WRIGHT
LAPLACE -Clifford Edell Wright, 37, a native of New Orleans and resident of LaPlace, died April 17.
He was the former husband of Betty Jean Myles Wright.
He is survived by his children Brittani and Diamond Wright, Irinisha Taylor and Dorian Morgan.
He is also survived by his brothers Renard Sr. and Myron K. Cage.
Services will be held today at 11a.m. At the Oak Grove Baptist Church, New Orleans, with internment in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Metairie.

ALLEMAN
NORCO – Dr. Earl James “Doc” Alleman, 85 a native of McCall and a resident of Norco, died April 20.
He was the husband of Carolyn Cambre Alleman.
He is survived by his children Nancy Sevo, Debbie Wilson, Jo Ann Soomro, Earl James “Rip” Alleman Jr., Beth Ramsey, Allison Lovetro-Marrero, Reed Michael and Kay A. Petri.
He is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
Services were held April 22 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, with internment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.
HAMLET
HAHNVILLE – David Neal Hamlet, 11, a native and resident of Hahnville, died April 17.
He was the son of Carrie A. Singleton and the late David N. Hamlet Sr.
He is survived by his siblings Arrianne S. Hamlet, Kristain Singleton, Loretta Wade, Jancie, Gloria and Sylvia Hamlet, Margaret Grayson, Lori Wilson and David Hamlet Jr.
He is also survived by his grandmother Ida Wilson and a devoted friend Juan Herbert, his aunts Cheryl Singleton and Fannie Williams and his uncles Paul, James, Perry Singleton and Richard Wilson.
Services will be held today at noon at the Historical Bethlehem Baptist Church, Hahnville, with internment in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

BOUTTE – Alvin Diggs, 59, a native of Boutte and resident of Marietta, Ga., died April 16.
He was the son of Estelle D. Lyons and the late John Diggs Sr.
He is survived by his children Wayne Diggs and Arlene and Darlene Williams.
He is also survived by his brother John Diggs Jr., devoted partner Rosa, three grandchildren and two godchildren.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. At the Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, with internment in the Mt. Airy Memorial Park Cemetery.

NUCCIO
DESTREHAN – Bain Thomas Norman Nuccio, 34, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Destrehan, died April 18.
He was the son of Laurene Couvillion and Gerald Thomas Norman.
He is survived by his step-father Lawrence Nuccio and his siblings Kelley Nuccio, Lawrence Nuccio Jr., Tina Wagner and Theresa Norman.
He is also survived by his grandmother Kathleen O’Grady Norman.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bain T. Norman, Etta and Lawrence Couvillion.
Services were held April 22 at the L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, Kenner.
DUMAS
VACHERIE – Sadie Marie Laurent Dumas “Maggie”, 91, a native and resident of Vacherie, died April 20.
She was the wife of the late Norbert Dumas Sr.
She is survived by her children Felicia Dumas, Ida Carey, Henry C., Norbert Jr. and Wesley Dumas.
She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children Harold Sr. and Janetta Marie Washington and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, with internment in the church cemetery.

RESERVE – Blanche Battard Jacob Vicknair, 86, a native and resident of Reserve, died April 20.
She was the wife by first marriage of the late Oscar Jacob Sr. And by second marriage of the late Clinton J. Vicknair.
She is survived by her children Jude and Robin P. Vicknair, Myrna Jacob Berteau, Lea Vicknair Manno, Tamara Vicknair LeBlanc and Christy Vicknair Falcon.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
