HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne is offering a scholarship, up to $500, to a meritorious graduating student now attending either Hahnville or Destrehan High School.

The scholarship, made available by the Louisiana Sheriff’s Honorary Membership Program, will be awarded to help further the chosen student’s education.

There are no restrictions on the purposes for which scholarship funds are spent.Completed applications must be submitted to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office by Permanent St. Charles Parish residents before or on April 1.

The applicants must be eligible for admission to the school indicated on the application and they must be attending an institution of higher learning within the state. A winner will be announced by May 1.
