ALUMNI GAME SET

St. Charles Catholic will host an alumni men’s basketball game on Friday, Jan. 21 following the Comets game against Vanderbilt Catholic. Odd years will take on the even years at approximately 8:30 p.m. For more information contact Don Fernandez, Alumni Director at 985-652-3809.

Golf Shootout

LaPlace area junior golfers ages 11-18 are invited to compete in The Shootout on Thompson Creek at The Bluffs in St. Francisville, La. (North of Baton Rouge) on Jan. 29-30th. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is sanctioned and ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard and hosted by the four-state (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida) Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour. Discounted hotel accommodations are available at the Best Western St. Francis on the Lake ($62.00 per night). The event is one of eleven Louisiana tournaments on the Arrowhead schedule.
