GRAY

HARVEY – David Gray, 39, a native of Leesburg, Fla., and resident of Luling, died Dec. 10. He was the husband of Mina Huot Gray, father of Jamie, Heather, Dorothy, Brandi and Kelli Gray, and stepfather of Kristy landry and Brandy Harrington.

He was also the son of the late Dwayne and Dorothy Gray, and brother of Elaine Moreland, Betty Jane Kidd, Dwayne Jr., and Donald Gray.

He is also survived by one grandchild. He is preceded in death by one grandchild.

He was public service division manager for White Dove Civic Outreach Center.

Memorial services are today at 1 p.m., at White Dove Fellowship, Harvey, with private interment.

HACHET

LAPLACE – Elmire “Coo” Roussel Hachet, 81, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Dec. 9.

She was the wife of the late J.O. Hachet Jr., and mother of Suzanna McCann and Ken “Bubba” Hachet.

She was also the daughter of the late Warren and Florence Dore Roussel.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She had been the owner of Roussel’s Restaurant in LaPlace.

Services were Dec. 13 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.

HAYDEL

DESTREHAN – Anna Jane Roberts Haydel, 87, a native of New Orleans and resident of Destrehan, died Dec. 9. She was the wife of the late Octave Joseph “Uncle Joe” Haydel.

She was also the daughter of the late Lloyd and Rose Garland Roberts, and sister of Ruth Caldwell, and the late Rose Roberts Nolan.

She was a retired teacher with 35 years of service with the St. Charles and Orleans parish school systems.

Services were Dec. 13 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum.

ROBERT

NORCO – Milda Huertin Robert, 73, a resident of Norco, died Dec. 12.

She was the wife of Curtis Robert Sr., and mother of Chris Jr., Micheal, Mark and Barry Robert.

She was also the sister of Ursila Borne, Beverly Weber and Floyd Huertin.

She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
