RESERVE – A 14-year-old Reserve boy recently told authorities he escaped from a gray Lincoln Towncar after being kidnapped and fondled by an unknown man.

An officer was dispatched Monday, Nov. 15, at 8:12 p.m. from the St. John the Baptist Sheriff’s Office after the juvenile’s mother called to report the crime.

Speaking with authorities in his home, the youth said he was kidnapped from the intersection of LA 44 and 20th Street by a black male wearing a white T-shirt.

After the alleged molester drove the teenager to the LA 44 and 29th Street crossroads, he rubbed the boy’s chest in an up-and-down movement.

Jumping from the vehicle, the juvenile ran home and toldhis parents.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Dane Clement said the youth could not recall any additional information about the assailant and his vehicle.
