Local rock band aims at success

LAPLACE – A hard rock band with local members is taking a stab at success with participation in the Steel Pony Express event on Oct. 29.
This band’s first CD “Branded” has sold 5000 copies to date. Their second CD, titled “The Clearer I See” is ready for release.
The Steel Pony Express™ is an annual four-day motorcycle event and music festival enjoyed by thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts each year.
Motorcycles of all types participate as organizers utilize the sport of motorcycling to bring together riders from across the country for a weekend of great riding, premier vendors and manufacturers, Cajun cuisine, local and national recording bands and a great motorcycling experience!
Lowerline will be sharing the stage with –
Big & Rich: whose album A Horse of a Different Color just went platinum and their single “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” is on top of the country charts.
Lynryd Skynyrd – who are multiplatinum music legends
Also Jesse James of West Coast Choppers and The Discovery Channel’s “Monster Garage” will be there as well.
The Steel Pony Express will take place on the grounds of UNO’s lakefront arena.
Lowerline performs on October 29 at 3 p.m.
