Brooke Crocker has been selected as a 2004-2005 member of the New Orleans Saints Cheerleading Team, the “Saintsations.” Brooke was selected from a field of over 300 applicants who auditioned for a spot on the prestigious team in April. The audition procedure was a three-part process. At the first audition, applicants were judged on dance and athletic ability. Semi-finalists advanced to the interview process wherein each applicant endured an intense interview with high profile business leaders. Questions ranged from sports to current events. Following results from a comprehensive football exam, finalists advanced to the last stage of the audition process at the House of Blues. Here, contestants appeared in business suits to answer “out of the hat” questions polled by local celebrity reporter Dan Thomas. Following the Q & A session, finalists performed before a packed audience. The event culminated with the announcement of the 2004-2005 team.

During the last several months, Brooke has been undergoing intense training for the up-coming season. American All-Star, Inc., the managing company for the Saintsations ensures that each team member is prepared for the many situations the cheerleaders encounter. Nationally renowned choreographer Steven Boss, who has appeared on MTV’s Wade Robson Project and was the 1st runner-up on Star Search, was selected by American All-Star as the new choreographer.

In June, the team enjoyed a one-week stay in Destin to shoot the popular Saintsation Swim Suit Calendar. In August, team members traveled to Fort Hood to participate in a salute to the Louisiana troops preparing for deployment to Iraq.

In addition to cheering on the sidelines at the Saints games, the team makes appearances throughout the Southeast area. Team members are active in the Saintsation Inspirational Programs that support Children’s Hospital, Each One Save One, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Dress for Success. Additionally, the team is involved in the Junior Saintsation Program, which affords young girls the opportunity to work with the team and perform at a Saints home game.
